Wow..just wow!

Celaena Sarthodien is an 18 year old assassin, The best Assassin of Adarlan

We all love heroes who save the day and usually also save the damsel-in-distress but, and a female strong lead? It something a lot better!

She was caught and taken captive in the Salt Mines of Endovier, where she suffered atrocities ordered by The king Of Adarlan, Calaena has almost not seen the sun for a year and is desperate for her freedom, When the opportunity is presented by Dorian Havilliard, The Crown Prince Of Adarlan, Calaena can’t miss the chance

Calaena has to fight for her freedom, for that ,she has become the prince’s champion and win the competition to serve the king as Royal Assassin for 4 years but along with her, other thieves, assassins and rouge warriors would fight to, too win the much coveted place.

At first, I thought that it will be some-what similar to The Hunger Games, but it was not, though it was as wonderful!

The story was a-w-e-s-o-m-e I loved LOVED the love triangle and Calaena’s sass,the way she treated others and the way she treated every situation presented to her and also, the way she deal the Arrogant-yet-hot Crown Prince and the Captain Of The Guards,Chaol Westfall.Also, there were no helpless female leads, who have to depend on the male lead to help her through *phew!*

“My name is Celaena Sardothien. But it makes no difference if my name’s Celaena or Lillian or Bitch, because I’d still beat you, no matter what you call me.”

Then, it is not only Assassins and competitions..yes! it has magic too! Although its banned in Adarlan, but its still there, along with wicked creatures of the otherworld ,Evil Kings, Ancient Queens with Agendas,scary creatures, mysterious symbols, this book has all!
Also:
I don’t like love triangles at all, but I love the triangle in Throne Of Glass. Its was great read and one should not miss this series!

Characters:Araby Worth,Elliot,Will,April,Kent,Prince Prospero,Reverend Malcontent etc

I waited for a long time ( almost a whole month ) to read this book
And it turned out to be a HUGE disappointment.

Araby’s world is almost destroyed, Her Father is a murderer, her mother is a captive of Prince Prospero and her best-friend April has the contagion which she might not survive

Now this an interesting synopsis and after all Masque Of The Red Death was so awesome, why shouldn’t this book be too?

The Red Death is now ravaging the city, With Malcontent’s men spreading the contagion through the city and Prince Prospero is not at all interested in saving it, Its up to Elliot,Araby and Will to save the city.

The first book was at least better developed, You could get lost in it,Everything added up in Masque Of The Red Death but this one…*sighs*

Now guys, If you have Read Masque Of The Red Death then you know What happened at last with Araby, those who have not; lets just say that one of the two male heroes, did something rather…upsetting to Araby Worth ( the protagonist) But our dear Araby cannot seem NOT to trust him when, on the other hand,The other guy has helped her throughout, been there for her, gave her almost every reason for her to trust him, But Araby can’t trust him ! How wonderful!

The whole story was vague especially at the end Then, I could not understand anything, It seemed like more of a Diary entree, where the person can only understand what he/she wrote, what is going on and not the other nosy people.
I almost stopped reading it at several occasions but then kept reading because I thought that it would connect to me at one point, like Masque Of The Red Death did and also because I loved the chemistry between Araby and Elliot ( Remember the Crocodile scene? ) I kept waiting for a scene like that, I kept waiting for Araby to realize things which I did a lot earlier.
I could not connect to Araby AT ALL I found her irritating,selfish most of the time, Definitely not an Hero .

Elliot? I LOVED HIM.He was just wonderful to read about, I would rather read Elliot’s point of view rather than Araby’s.
And Will? I don’t know where to start, The reasons I hate him are endless.

It was a HUGE disappointment and the ending, I felt was just stupid!

I don’t know, this is my view but I expected so much more from this one.

Serena Cross, witnesses her friend’s murder and now is sent to live under the protection of an Hot, arrogant alien..hmmm

I started this stand alone novel Adult Novel, because of Lux series and JLA ( because her writing is that awesome

AND I AM SO HAPPY THAT I DID!

Serena Cross is a 23 year old Independent woman, whose best-friend, Mel witnesses something unnatural happening to Senator’s Vandersons sons, She tries to tell that to Serena and also about some project Eagle, but Serena, like a natural human, dismisses it due to the total bizarreness of the situation Mel presented.
Cost? Serena watches Mel blow up in her car..That car which lighted up like an Christmas Tree!.
Serena tells the police this and is now shit-deep in the matters Department of Defense and Aliens.
Since Project Eagle is something DOD does not know and Serena’s information is vague, she is sent away for her safety till she remembers anything else, under the Care of Hunter.
Now, those of us who have read the Lux series before, know that the Arums are ultimately bad guys and Luxens are the heroes ( hello? Daemon Black! ) but, Obsession throws the light on a totally different situation, which makes us wonder who are the actual Good Guys out there.
And yes, Hunter is an Arum .
Hunter Is now this incredibly,sexy, arrogant alien who can’t believe that he has to take care of a human, and extract information from her because of DOD, but as an independent girl ,Serena is not that easy to crack.
Hunter and Serena’s chemistry…wow.I mean there was lust,there was hotness but there was also sweetness which was to die for and Hunter,the arrogant prick ,is seriously one of the hottest thing ever.
Only if I could lick him *sigh*

“You’re not going to answer me?” Or do I need to repeat myself for a third time? It’s okay. I like to hear myself talk.”

 

This is not sexy
Now DOD is back for Serena and the a powerful Luxen wants her dead,can Hunter save Serena and can hunter save himself from the human emotions?

Holy Hell this book is just…to awesome, and JLA’s writing still surprises me after Lux series and the sex scenes.. *fans herself*

I wish there was one more in this series…but well.

Okay, I finished with Dreamfever Today and I am still..in shock

We left Faefever with Mac taken captive by the Unseelie Princes and Lord Master in the church and Dreamfever takes up right after that,

Mac is turned in a Pri-ya (Fae sex-addict) and pretty much thinks only about sex.She is saved from the church by 13 year old Dani O’Malley and other Sidhe-Seers, who, have been turned against Mac by their Grandmistress Rowena.Mac is taken as a prisoner, held in the church.She is saved by Jericho Barrons  and others supposedly like him, with superhuman abilities.Mac is brought back from Pri-ya by Jericho ( you have to read the book to find out how!) and is now back again, in the game, to find Sinsar Dubh and to destroy LM ( Lord Master).

Along the way Mac faces hardships with Sinsar Dubh and other Sidhe-Seers and especially during the climax of the last 100 pages , which are bound to leave you breathless.Many of our questions is answered and we finally know who Ryodan, Mac’s heritage and most importantly, who Barrons is.

Can Mac save the Dark Dublin and her beloved hometown Ashford,Georgia and the world, In Time?

Ratings: 5 Starts totally!
